Prasanna Kumar M.G, Research Scholar, won the Young Scientist Award (Twice) 2012 and 2013 at the National conference on 8th Kannada Vijnana Sammelana organized by SWADESHI VIJNANA ANDOLANA- KARANATAKA for the paper entitled “The Role of Mobile Phones in Agricultural Production: an economic View” held at Agricultural University, Dharwad on 15th – 17th September, 2012 and at the National conference on 9th Kannada Vijnana Sammelana by SWADESHI VIJNANA ANDOLANA- KARANATAKA for the paper entitled “The Role of Mobile Phones and communication in rural development: an analytical view  ” held at Horticulture University, Bagalkot on 15th – 17th September, 2013.

Ramyashree M.G, Research Scholar, won the  Women Scientist Award at the National conference on 9th Kannada Vijnana Sammelana organized by SWADESHI VIJNANA ANDOLANA- KARANATAKA for the paper entitled “The Growing Role of Contract Farming in Horticulture towards Rural Development in Karnataka: a Key Insight” held at Horticulture University, Bagalkot on 15th – 17th September, 2013.
