Mathematics Student achievements

Academic:

• One doctoral student received ISCA Best Poster Presentation Award (2010) by the Indian Science Congress Association.
• One doctoral student received IMS Prize for the year 2011 for presenting the best research paper in the area of Discrete Mathematics at the 77th Annual Conference of the Indian Mathematical Society.

• One student received CSIR Research fellowship by clearing the National Entrance Test & completed his Ph.D. degree in the Department during the year 2012.
• In the last five years more than 50 students have qualified the CSIR-NET/ K-SLET/Gate examinations.
