Student Welfare

Student Welfare

The DSW is primarily a statutory office working for the welfare of students of the University. It was started along with the university but managed initially under the Administrative Officer. From the year 1989 onwards the centre was organised under a Director. It organises, encourages and monitors the extra- curricular activities of the students.

A Directorate of Student Welfare looks after the Student Welfare programmes in the University. The students are encouraged to participate in co-curricular activities such as literary and cultural competitions, inter-collegiate and inter-university competitions at state/zonal/national and international levels.

The DSW is committed to the spirit of unity and integrity of the students.
