1. Organized a two-days’ national seminar on ‘Historiography of Karnataka’ at University College, Mangalore, April  2015.
2. Organized the  24^th Session of Karnataka History Congress  in the department on 26-28 March 2015.
3. Organized a two days’ national seminar on ‘History and Literature’in the department on 6^th and 7^th March 2017.
