Objectives

MAA will facilitate and establish a synergy between the university and its alumni, and to this end will:

• Create a data base of all alumni.

• Establish and maintain regular contact with alumni.

• Endeavour to create links between alumni in different regions.

• Honour alumni for distinguished work.

• Encourage and assist alumni efforts to build the image of the University.

• Foster greater academic interaction between alumni and university.

• Seek the cooperation of alumni to establish national and international linkages including fellowships and admissions.

• Solicit the guidance and help of alumni in academic placements.

• Be an effective channel for all alumni contributions to University life.

• MAA will also be the interface between industry and the university for any educational and placement initiatives.
