Some of MSc previous students take up two months’ summer research projects in other institutions which help them develop newer skills.
The alumni of the department are well placed in R & D sections of various pharmaceutical companies. Some of them are pursuing their PhD in CFTRI, Nitte University, Yenepoya University, University of Mysore, Mangalore University, MAHE, S.D.M. Medical College, Dharwad and Australia.
Three students have qualified UGC NET and SLET
Five students of the department have passed GATE examination
