Master of Science (M.Sc.) in Microbiology
Candidates who have passed the three year B.Sc. Degree examination of Mangalore University or any other University considered as equivalent thereto or any integrated degree with Microbiology/Biological Science/Agricultural Science/Medical Science/Food Science/Genetics/Pharmacology/Pharmacognosy/Botany/ Zoology/Chemistry/Biochemistry/Chemical Engineering/ Biotechnology/Immunology/Food and Nutrition/Food Technology/Diary Microbiology/Molecular Biology/ Cell Biology/Biophysics/Bioinformatics/Biological Chemistry/Methodology and perspective of Science/ Microbial Physiology/Medical Microbiology/Methods in Microbiology/Physiology/Human Physiology/Microbial Taxonomy/Food Technology/Microbial Genetics/ Food and Agricultural Microbiology/Environmental Microbiology/Environmental and Sanitation Microbiology/Environmental Physics as major/minor/ subsidiary/optional/specialized subjects are eligible for the programme provided they have secured a minimum of 45%(40% for SC/ST/Category–I candidates) marks in any two subjects
