    • B.Sc. Degree in life science with 45% minimum aggregate.

    • Yes, project work is part of the curriculum.

    • Students are allowed to take up internship program of their interest during vacation by self.

    • Yes. As per curriculum the industrial visit shall be conducted for students to visit research institutes or biopharmaceuticals industries to learn the organization levels and technologies used.

 

  • Do students have an opportunity to learn life skills?
    • Yes, personality development, mental ability, stress management and health management workshops and talks are organized.

 

  • How many hardcore or softcore subjects are there in M.Sc. programme?
    • I semester- 4 hardcore and 3 softcore (Any 2 to be selected)
    • II Semester- 3 hardcore and 3 softcore (any 2 to be selection)
    • III semester- 3 hardcore and 3 softcore (any 2 to be selected)
    • IV semester- 2 hardcore and 2 softcore (any 1 to be selected)

 

  • What is total credit allocated to the programme?
    • Since the program is evaluated on choice-based credit system, the total credit allocated is 115, out of which 91 credits should be earned by students.

    • The program is more of professional compared to other life science courses. Training the students in the field of microbiology, to conduct world-class research in microbiology, and to provide service to the public sector in the application of microbiology to solve important societal concerns.
